About Me...
I’m Lena Walk. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for art and expressing myself creatively. I’ve gained valuable experiences by working on some great projects throughout my career. I’m motivated, reliable, innovative, detail-oriented, and very diverse with my artwork.
My passion for art began when I was a young girl living in an orphanage, in the country of Ukraine. Attending art classes helped me escape the harsh reality I was living in. Expressing myself through art gave me a voice and a small sense of freedom. Painting helped me to truly express my feelings and emotions on canvas and expanded the horizons of my imagination. It brought light to my situation and gave me a sense of hope about my life.
Luckily, the hope I had for my life, turned into a reality. I now live in central Pennsylvania with a big family who provided me with many opportunities to make my dreams of being a professional artist come true. My biggest desire is to inspire people with the beauty of my artwork and show them a glimpse of who I am.
I am currently employed as a full-time mural artist in Altoona Pennsylvania, where I get to design my own ideas and bring them to life on the walls and ceilings of businesses. I have used a variety of mediums in the past some of which include acrylic paints, watercolor, pastel/oil, charcoal, pencils, airbrush, oil paint, and watercolor pencils. My biggest achievements include my large portfolio with over 300 murals as well as receiving recognition and a monetary award from the former president of Ukraine for my artwork.
I am a very diversified artist and have no boundaries when it comes to art. My belief is when you have a creative spark, you can do anything with your talent. If you would like to learn more about my artwork, please do not hesitate to contact me.
